Passive House [Passivhaus] Demonstration Project - Fort St. John

Plans to build a Passivhaus demonstration project are underway for the City of Fort,
St. John, BC, Canada. Marken Projects has been contracted to provide the Design and Passive House Energy Modelling for this Single Family project.

The City of Fort St. John has been investigating into energy efficient housing with the intention of demonstrating to homeowners and developers how efficient a house can be.

This Passivhaus project is intended to show especially builders how an energy efficient home can be built at relatively the same expense as a traditional structure, while at the same time offer homeowners reduced expenses to operate and maintain the building.
